SNAG actively supports the education of talented members of the jewelry and metals industry, through financial support.
Lifetime Achievement Award
SNAG’s Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor the Society can bestow upon an individual. This prestigious honor is reserved for leaders who have made significant contributions to contemporary metalsmithing throughout their career.
Educational Endowment Scholarships
Three educational scholarships are awarded each year. Students enrolled in jewelry and metals curriculum at universities, colleges, community colleges, and trade schools are all eligible for these scholarships.
SNAG/crafthaus Conference Scholarship
Awarded every January to a SNAG & crafthaus member to enable attendance at the annual SNAG conference.
Conference Work Exchange
Work six hours at the SNAG conference in return for a partial refund on your conference fee. Open to selected students and new professionals.
Conference Student Scholarships
SNAG raises the money and the individual schools pick which students to send. Contact your professor today to be sure your school is on the list of recipients.
